I’m Jane Wing, a UK audiobook narrator and voice actor based between Liverpool and London. As a trained actor, I bring a strong ear for character, pace, emotional truth and storytelling to every project, whether I’m narrating fiction, non fiction, children’s books, full cast work or character led audio.
My voice work spans long form audiobook narration, award nominated full cast audio, daily news narration, audio drama, games and commercial voiceover. That mix of experience means I’m comfortable with detailed text, emotional nuance, distinctive characters and clear, engaging narration that keeps the listener with the story.
I record from a broadcast quality home studio and can work remotely with live direction, self direct when needed, or travel for studio sessions in London, Manchester and elsewhere. I’m friendly, reliable and collaborative, and I care about making the author’s words feel natural, truthful and fully alive in audio.

I’m comfortable working to casting briefs, pronunciation notes, style guides and production deadlines. I’m especially well suited to character led fiction, mature female narration, Northern and Liverpool voices, RP, children’s books, full cast work and emotionally truthful storytelling.

As for narration itself, it was excellent.
My book is a sci-fi novel with very difficult AI characters to convey in a convincing way, as well as damaged and broken characters whose emotions shone through via Jane's excellent understanding of them.
Jane gave me a questionnaire requesting details about all of the main characters, their personalities and the kind of voices I wanted to be expressed. She clearly took note of this as well as reading the book in advance so she could capture the nuance involved in each character.
Jane is professionalism at its best and if you are thinking of using her services, I can only say just do it, because you will not be disappointed.
