Audiobook narration

My skill at bringing characters to life and vast experience with all types of narration mean

your audiobook is in very safe hands.

One of the first long form projects I completed was recording ‘A Queen From The North’ by Erin McRae & Racheline Maltese, a full cast audiobook project for Pagewater Publishing in New York. I was asked to be the narrator and play two of the main characters in the story - and to add icing to the cake - the audiobook was nominated for the prestigious SOVAS (Society of Voice Arts and Sciences) awards!

Since then, I have recorded stories ranging from children’s books to Sci Fi and Romance - and everything in between.

As a fully trained and skillful actor, I am able to breathe life into a huge array of characters and I understand how important it is to create a listening experience that transports the audience to another world. I love hearing the excited feedback from an author when they start listening to the characters they have long had living inside their head, come alive, as their voices are captured.

I am also highly experienced with recording non fiction writing and my work as a daily narrator for the NOA news app means I can deliver exactly the right tone and style your book needs. From informative and trustworthy to light hearted and amusing - I will adapt my narration to suit the project perfectly.

My broadcast standard home studio and audio production skills mean your project will be delivered with faultless quality and will be ready to upload to your desired audio platform. I can also help you to navigate the ACX platform and ensure your book gets out into the world as quickly and seamlessly as possible.

Producing an audiobook is a collaboration between author and narrator and I will work closely with you to ensure the finished product sounds exactly the way you imagine it.

Feedback from the author

As for narration it's self, it was excellent.

My book is a sci-fi novel with very difficult AI characters to convey in a convincing way, as well as damaged and broken characters whose emotions shone through via Jane's excellent understanding of them.

Jane gave me a questionnaire requesting details about all of the main characters, their personalities and the kind of voices I wanted to be expressed. She clearly took note of this as well as reading the book in advance so she could capture the nuance involved in each character.

Jane is professionalism at it's best and if you are thinking of using her services, I can only say just do it, because you will not be disappointed.

Jane was an absolutely amazing audiobook narrator!

If you're looking for someone fantastic, flexible, and dedicated, then hire Jane.

She's an all-rounder, able to bring life to your characters, do a vast array of accents, and even hit all the right pronunciations for all the weird and wonderful words I made up for my fantasy story.

Honestly, why are you still reading my review? GO AND BOOK JANE. NOW!
